Mike Curry is a Brighton-based photographer whose work finds order—and quiet wonder—in the shifting surfaces of the city. Best known for his long-running Fleeting Reflections series, he translates the architecture of Canary Wharf (London) into graphic, abstract images made in-camera, without compositing. His photographs are held in collections worldwide, have been exhibited in London galleries and collected in two books, Fleeting Reflections (2016) and Fleeting  Reflections II (2023).

Curry’s images have appeared in The Sunday Times Magazine, Outdoor Photography, and the Landscape Photographer of the Year exhibitions; his picture “Middle Dock Reflections” won the LPOTY Your View category in 2015. He is a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography.

Alongside his personal projects, Curry has been commissioned by clients including Canary Wharf Group, Caprice Holdings, and the National Maritime Museum, creating artworks and photography that echo his precise sense of  pattern, rhythm and light.

There is a thread of curiosity through four decades with a camera: a childhood fascination with kaleidoscopes and Spirograph that never quite wore off, only grew up. The result is work that’s playful, pared back and oddly calming—images that invite you to look twice, then look again.
